In Loving Memory of Mrs. Sangita Mehta
— Mrs. Sangita Mehta —
Brief Write-up about Mrs. Sangita Mehta
This Trust is established in the loving memory of Mrs. Sangita Mehta who breathed her last on 28 May 2021 after a month-long battle with Covid in a hospital ICU at Dwarka, Delhi. She was married to Mr. Kuldeep Kumar in 1987 and blessed with two sons Dushyant (born 1988) and Angad (born 1997).
She was a pure and powerful soul full of love, joy and wisdom. During her short life she played all her parts to perfection — a devoted wife and mother, a passionate teacher, a generous colleague and a loyal friend. Compassionate by nature, she helped many poor students from various orphanages and blind schools. She also had enormous courage and faced life’s many challenges with equanimity and fortitude.
She was hardworking, a keen observer and learner throughout her life. She took great interest in decorating her home and designed her own dresses, wooden furniture and home interiors. She was sensuous and loved fresh flowers, good music, earthy smells, rich colours and quality food. She loved travelling within India and abroad and was particularly fond of her fabulous collection of sarees.
This Trust is an effort to carry forward her legacy and create excellence in education and economic development to build capacities of the general public for sustainable development.
