SANGAM means a gathering of learned persons. (In Tamil, the oldest language of the world). SANGAM also means , a confluence of rivers; different rivers merging into one.(In sanskrit, ancient language of India)

The Trust decided to have this name, as the different activities of the Trust is expected to converge and compound with a resultant society of learned persons , with capacity for each one's flourishing and thus contribute to society's sustainable development.

The Logo is a group of birds flying in exploration to unseen and unheard places, thus seeing new sights and sounds. The mission of the Trust is to give wings of imagination, curiosity and an exploratory attitude to people to see more, read more, learn more, understand more , experience more, and thus fly higher and go farther in life .
